These split red lentils come from historic lands with a perfect climate that provide them with a very small dimension and a variegated red color and a complex flavor profile.
Lentils are one of the first legumes that are cultivated and eaten in this world. They boast a significant and peculiar nutritional value. Among the plant-based foods, lentils should have a prominent place in the weekly meal plan. They are particularly rich in proteins (with a quantity that is equal to or greater than that of meat), fibers, magnesium, potassium and iron.
These split lentils cook in half of the time of whole lentils!
